Sustainable Audubon meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 pm in the Senior Center on the corner of Oakland Ave. & Oak St.

Back in 2014,  a group of dedicated residents volunteered to pursue environmental awareness and sustainability within Audubon Borough.  Through Sustainable Jersey, a state nonprofit organization that provides tools, training and financial incentives to support communities as they pursue sustainability programs, the Audubon Green Team  began the journey to a Sustainable Jersey Certification. Through the hard work of achieving a Sustainable Jersey certification, the Borough of Audubon will become a healthy and sustainable community for future generations to enjoy.  Additionally, certified municipalities are considered by their peers, by state government and by the experts and civic organizations in New Jersey, to be among leading municipalities.
