Sustainable Audubon meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 pm in the Senior Center on the corner of Oakland Ave. & Oak St.  (We are meeting via Zoom during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Email us at to be added to the Zoom invite list).

Back in 2017,  a group of dedicated residents volunteered to pursue environmental awareness and sustainability within Audubon Borough.  Through Sustainable Jersey, a state nonprofit organization that provides tools, training and financial incentives to support communities as they pursue sustainability programs. The Sustainable Audubon Green Team received a grant from PSE&G and became Bronze Certified in November 2019.  This certification for the Borough of Audubon shows it’s commitment to become a healthy and sustainable community for future generations to enjoy.  We were also honored as Rookie of the Year for the State of New Jersey and The Camden County Sustainability Champion in 2019!

In 2020 we received a grant from New Jersey American Water Resources to install two rain gardens in Audubon.  One is at Green Wave Field and the other is at the County Park next to the Rec Center.
