The Borough of Audubon is participating in the Energy Efficiency Partnership Program with PSE&G to inform the community about an opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of their homes that potentially may also be financially beneficial as well.
Beside the fiscal benefits, increasing energy efficiency also benefits the environment. Reduced carbon footprint/greenhouse gas production will slow the increasing annual mean global near-surface temperature. This has consequences for climate changes like sea level rise. Most importantly, improvement of the overall air quality from a human health perspective will also result.
The program is real simple and is a free service. Just follow this link to see what program you qualify for and book an energy assessment with PSE&G. A representative will come to your home and examine your home and suggest ways you can improve your energy efficiency. Later, you will receive a report detailing specific energy efficiency measures to ensure you save the most. If you qualify, you may also receive up to $7,500 in energy efficiency, health, and safety upgrades at no charge, to $5,000 in rebates on energy-saving home improvements and convenient interest-free on-bill repayment options.
